As Simple As You Want

One of the cool things about doodling is you can keep it as simple as you want to. Doodling only needs a standard pencil or pen and a piece of plain paper but you don’t have to – you can use 100% cotton artist paper and colored pencils or watercolor paints, you can use canvas and oil paint or acrylics or just about anything.

That’s the joy of doodling – use whatever is convenient. No one is judging you or your work – make it easy, fun and let it flow with whatever you want. And you can always use the same materials or use different ones every time.

What got me into more doodling was I liked to try art supplies in a less structured way. And I discovered there was joy for me in doing this. You might find joy in keeping it simple – or not. Whatever is relaxing and fun for you – there is no wrong way!
