One of the great things about doodling is that it doesn’t require any special skills or techniques. Just grab your pen, pencil, crayon, some paper, and you’re off! If you want, you can develop skills and apply them to your doodles, but you don’t have to.
Take these bubbles drawn with alcohol markers. They didn’t take long, didn’t take much planning. But they were fun to do! I got to play with a variety of colors, do overlays, and it was great.
The bottom line is that ometimes wanting to make perfect art gets in the way of having fun, but that doesn’t have to be the case here. No pressure to create a work or a masterpiece – just grab a writing utensil, marker or brush and go.
